November 11 2015

Accompanied by the administrative and academic staff, students of the Foreign Language Department English Preparatory School explored Edirne on Wednesday, November 11.

Our students examined the most important cultural sites of the Ottoman capital Edirne and got information about their history. The places they visited are; Şükrü Paşa Tabyası, Selimiye Camii ve Arasta Çarşısı, Eski Camii, Üç Şerefeli Camii, Kırkpınar Alanı, Adalet Kasrı, Balkan Şehitliği, Beyazıt Külliyesi, Şifahane, Meriç Köprüsü. Our students also had the chance to eat the famous Edirne liver dish at lunch.

We thank our colleagues who contributed to the organisation of this event and we also thank our students and the academic and the administrative staff for participating.
