The TESOL Türkiye LAMSIG Biennial Conference 2025, held on 15 November 2025, brought together leading academics, administrators, and practitioners in the field of foreign language education in Türkiye. At this important event, the FSMVU Department of Foreign Languages was strongly represented.
As part of the conference, our Director, Koray Tunç, delivered a presentation titled “Digital Leadership.” The session provided an overview of the changing nature of leadership in increasingly digitalized educational environments and highlighted the importance of technology oriented management in institutions.
FSMVU’s participation extended beyond the presentation, further strengthened by the presence of a broad administrative and academic team. Our Assistant Director, Zeynep Bilgehan Can, Program Coordinator, Derya Özdemir, Modern Languages Coordinator, Meryem Büşra Ünsal, and EdTech & AI Coordinator, Alireza Kabiriaslifar, attended various sessions throughout the event, gaining new insights and sharing their ideas and experiences.
The event offered a valuable opportunity to address the managerial needs faced by foreign language education institutions in Türkiye within the context of the digital age. FSMVU’s active involvement in this conference once again demonstrated our university’s innovative approach to education, its digital transformation vision, and its commitment to professional development.
